Filter Category 0:
Light transmission: 80-100% of visible light. Lens color: Clear or very lightly tinted. Use: Ideal for evening, night, or low-light conditions where you still need maximum visibility. They offer minimal protection from sun glare.

Filter Category 1:
Light transmission: 43-80% of visible light. Lens color: Light tint, often yellow or pink. Use: Enhances contrast in low-light conditions such as cloudy days or early mornings. Provides some reduction of sun glare while maintaining good visibility.

Filter Category 2:
Light transmission: 18-43% of visible light. Lens color: Medium tint, often amber or brown. Use: Suitable for moderate sunlight conditions. They offer a balance between glare reduction and visibility, making them ideal for partly cloudy to sunny conditions.

Filter Category 3:
Light transmission: 8-18% of visible light. Lens color: Dark tint, often grey or green. Use: Best for bright sunlight conditions, such as those found at the beach or in the mountains. They provide significant glare reduction and eye protection from intense sunlight.

Filter Category 4:
Light Transmission: 3-8% of visible light. Lens Color: Very dark tint, often used in environments with severe glare. Use: Suitable for extremely intense light conditions, such as high-altitude mountaineering or glacier skiing. They provide maximum protection against solar light but are not recommended for driving due to their darkness.
